Our Partnership with
Zigong No.1 Middle School
Cascia Hall has agreed to be a partner school with Zigong No.1 Middle School in Sichuan, China.
This partnership will include an ongoing information exchange between the two schools concerning educational activities and important events.
In the Fall of 2008, students and teachers from Zigong No.1 school will visit Cascia Hall for two weeks to observe our school and learn more about English and American culture. In the Spring of 2009, Cascia students who have taken Chinese language courses at Cascia will travel to Sichuan for two weeks to attend Zigong No.1 school, improve their Chinese language skills and learn about Chinese culture.
This program is a part of the ongoing involvement of Cascia Hall with the Oklahoma Consortium for Teaching East Asia through the University of Oklahoma.
The partner school relationship will be coordinated by Mrs. Ashley Dugan, who has been instrumental in developing Cascia Hall’s Chinese language and cultural exchange programs. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Dugan at adugan@casciahall.org.
